Shravan Month

Jai shree Krishna, Know the importance of Holy Month Shravan

Right kind of knowledge, logical understanding of scriptures and avoidance of superstitious beliefs is what is spirituality all about. For a spiritual person nothing is more important than purushartha (effort, action, deed) and surrendering at the feet of God.

Samudra Manthan , The churning of the milky ocean, i.e. Samudra Manthan in search of the amrit(Nectar), took place during the month of Shravan. During the churning, 14 different rubies emerged from the ocean. Thirteen rubies were divided among the dev (God) positive and the asur (Dewil) Negative thougts however, Halahal, the 14th ruby remained untouched as it was the deadliest poison which could destroy the whole universe and every living being. Both decided to throw it away but Shiv prevented them from doing so by saying that if poison is thrown away, the world will be destroyed. So, eventually to save the world, Shiv himself consumed it. The poison was held by Shiva in the neck only because if it is thrown out, then the universe will get destroyed. So he had to hold it in his neck and because of this, his neck turned blue in colour. From then onwards he was also called by the name “Neelkanth” meaning blue throat. All gods thereafter started offering Milk,Gangajal (water from the River Ganga) and flowers, etc.to Bhagvan Shiva to lessen the effect of poison. Since, this happened in the month of Shravan, devotees also offer Gangajal,Milk, flowers etc to Bhagvan Shiva in this month.

Bhagvan Shiv, who held the poison in his throat, indicates that we should also not spit these negativities on others nor allow them to go down deep within us. We should hold them at a safe place within us for some time that they neither affect us nor destroy others, and at the earliest opportunity neutralise these negativities through positive emotions.
The Nakshatra Shravan is the ruling Star on full Moon day and therefore this month has been named as Shravan, Astrology more specifically predicts the behaviour of stars and their vibratory influence on human beings.
As per astrophysics, metaphysics and other sciences of physics, which deals with matter and energy, and their interaction and behaviour, every moving matter emanates some vibratory affect (energy) which, in turn, influences other matter and beings in this universe.
Performing the Lord’s worship during this auspicious month can bring several great benefits to the lives of devotees, who are blessed by the grace of Shiv.

The Mondays of Shravan Maas or Shravan Somvars are the most auspicious days for Bhagvan Shiva’s worship. Performing Rudrabhishek pooja during Shravan Somvars can help one attain great physical and spiritual wellbeing.
The Saturdays of Shravan Maas or Shravan Shanivars are also great occasions for the worship of Hanuman (RudraAvtar). Recital Hanuman Chalisa can eliminate the negative effects of Grah Dosh.
Fasting is a ritual that is followed by most devotees during the holy month of Shravan.

One can perform Havan in House or SHIVA puja or Satyanarayan Katha, to remove and destroy negative energy from the house, which will help positive energy to enter in house with happiness and joy.

Benefits of Shiva Pooja

Going on a pilgrimage

Burning all the sins and mistakes

Gaining the virtues of all the 24 Ekadashis of the year

Cleaning all the impurities and negativity from the body and soul

Achieve longevity, happiness, salvation, wealth, and prosperity

🪔🪔🪔 According to the Vedic Sanatan Dharma, the movement of the moon on the day of Ekadashi has a direct correlation with the human body and mind. during Ekadashi, the water in the body shifts in such a way that it puts pressure on the senses, making them more prone to worldly pleasure. Spiritually to attain control over senses, devotees resort to Upavas. Upavas also means to reside (vas) nearby (upa), that is moving closer to the Bhagvan or spiritual consciousness. one counteracts negative influence generated by the influence of the moon. By fasting mind attains maximum efficiency giving the brain a better capacity to meditate. out of the five Pandav, Yudhisthir, Arjun, Nakul and Sahadev used to observe Ekadashi Vrat along with Kunti (their mother) and Draupadi (their wife). But Bhim, their second brother, was not able to do so, as he was fond of eating and controlling hunger was impossible for him. Once, he expressed his wish to observe the fast, but wanted to eat as well. However, as eating was against the ritual of Ekadashi fast; therefore, he went to his grandfather (Ved Vyas) to seek help. On this, Vyas suggested him to observe Nirjala Ekadashi Vrat, as it is equivalent to observing all the 24 Ekadashi Vrats. He also told him that observing this fast will compensate him for not being able to observe all the other Ekadashi Vrats of the year. Bhim followed his grandfather’s advice and observed the fast with faith and dedication. As a result of observing Nirjala Ekadasi fast and not consuming anything, he became unconscious on the very next morning. To get back to his senses, he offered Ganga Jal to Tulsi plant and ended his fast. After this, Nirjala Ekadashi came to be known as Bhima Ekadashi, Bhimseni Ekadashi, and Pandav Ekadashi. The literal meaning of Nirjala is “without water”. This reason makes Nirjala Ekadashi Vrat the most difficult as well as the most sacred. Devotees find this fast more difficult and strict than others, Being a 24-hour long fast,

👉👉Nirjala Ekadashi Vrat starts from sunrise of the day and ends on the sunrise of the next day i.e. Dwadashi (the twelfth day). This holy day is spent in the dedication of Bhagvan Vishnu and chanting Mantras. However, if someone is unable to observe the Nirjala Ekadashi Vrat due to any reason, they can make donations to the needy people for seeking blessings of this meritorious day.

🔴Though Nirjala Ekadashi is not easy to observe, still performing it with the right rituals can open doors of success for you. Observe Nirjala Ekadasi and get the blessings of Vishnu Bhagvan along with the washing off all your evils. If you are not able to observe the other Ekadasi Vrats of this year, then Nirjala Ekadashi Vrat can help you in compensating for each one of them.

Meaning of the Mantra

‘Om NamoBhagavateVasudevaya’ – is a salutation to the Bhagvan and can simply mean ‘I bow down to Vasudeva.’ However, this remains profound in its sense and significance.

‘Om’ is an eternal, universal sound and is hailed as Shabdha Brahman, the ultimate principle of speech sound. It denotes the supreme spirit. ‘Namo’ is a humble salutation. ‘Bhagavate’ is the supreme divinity, known generally as Bhagvan. ‘Va(a)sudevaya’  means ‘the son of Vasudeva’ and refers to Bhagvan Shree Krishna, who was born the son of Vasudeva. ‘Vasu’ can also mean ‘the one, who is the life force of all beings’ and ‘Devaya’ is the Almighty. Hence ‘Vasudevaya’ can also mean ‘the supreme divinity who lives in all lives.’

The mantra can thus be elaborated to mean ‘Oh Bhagvan, the son of Vasudeva, the Bhagvan who dwells in all beings, I bow down to you with all reverence and offer you my humble prayers.’

🔔🔔🔔 *Why*🔔🔔🔔

Lets understand why is important this Day, Narasimha Jayanti is celebrated on the day of Vaishakh Shukla Paksha’s Chaturdashi. Bhagvan  Narasimha  gives  power and victory. To His worshipers, Bhagvan Vishnu incarnated as a  Narasimha on this day and killed Hiranyakashyap to establish dharma in this world.

👉   Narasimha is one of the main incarnations of Bhagvan Vishnu.  Narasimha meance

Nar- half-human – Simha- half-lion. He killed Hiranyakashyap in this form.

👉Sage  Kashyap and his wife Diti.  Had two sons who were known as Hiranyaksha and Hiranyakashipu. As Hiranyaksh

actions were (Adharmik) unrighteousness then Bhagvan Vishnu killes Hiranyaksha to protect the earth and mankind.

👉 Then his brother Hiranyakashipu could not bear the death of his brother and wanted to take revenge.  Then he started to do Sadhna bhagvan Brahma , Vishnu and Mahesh finally he Has asked  Vardan as he didn’t wanted to die ,  but Bhagvan has asked him everyone has to die, so please ask something else ,then with cleaver move he has covered all reasons which can cause of death like , he has asked I will not die with any human nor any animal ,with any weapon nor any time during night or day etc.and Bhagvan has given him Vardan as he wanted and thereafter ,Hiranyakashipu established his rule in all Lokas.

👉He even started ruling the heavens. All the Devas were helpless and could not do anything about Hiranyakashipu’s atrocities.

©️©️In the meantime, his wife Kayadhu gave birth to a son who was named, Prahalad. This child did not resemble any demons and was totally devoted to Bhagvan Vishnu, Hiranyakashipu tried many different ways to distract Prahalad from his Faith and Belives Towards Bhagvan Vishnu and to make him a demon.

📿All his attempts failed and Prahalad was devoted even more towards Bhagvan Vishnu. Due to Bhagvan Vishnu’s blessings, Prahalad was always saved from Hiranyakashipu’s atrocities.

👉Once, Hiranyakashipu tried to burn Prahalad. He made Prahalad sit over his sister’s (Holika) lap in fire. Holika was blessed with a boon that she could not burn in fire. But, with Prahalad sitting in her lap, Holika was burnt alive and nothing happened to Prahalad.

📿👉  Seeing this, Hiranyakashipu was very angry. Even his subjects started worshipping Bhagvan Vishnu. He asked Prahalad about his Bhagvan. He asked his Bhagvan to appear in front of him. Prahalad replied by saying that the Bhagvan was present everywhere and resided in everything. Listening to this, Hiranyakashipu asked Prahalad if his Bhagvan resided in a pillar to which Prahalad replied, yes.

📿📿Listening to this, Hiranyakashipu attacked the pillar and Bhagvan Narasimha appeared in front of him.

🌞Bhagvan Narasimha held him on his legs and killed him by cutting his chest with his nails and reminded to Hiranyakashipu TO he is neither human. Nor animal, he didn’t used any weapons or time also was nether day or night, further he said neither he born or appear from earth he has comes from pillar and u have been killed by own karma.

🌞What is Bhagvan is want explain us in this Kalyug time?

👉  Bhagvan want to tell us our wealth, power, intelligence is use for humanitarian actions not to harm anyone also we shouldn’t be proud on ourselves by showing wealth, power, knowledge because that all given by Bhagvan and it can and will be taken by him if we misuse that, and we are witnessing in this days .

Why do we celebrate Holi? Science Behind colour play

Jai Shree Krishna, Holi festival, Holika Dahan and Colour play

Holi – the festival of colors, love and brotherhood, it marks the blooming of spring and a final goodbye to the winter season.

Importance and Significance of Holi (Dhuleti) Related to Holi.

#1 Bhakta Prahlad and HiranyaKashyap

Bhakta Prahalad and his father Hiranya Kashyap and aunt Holika (who were cruel yet blessed). This story re-establishes our eternal faith in Bhagvan without fear and have faith in the supreme power. It throws light on the fact that truth, devotion, and faith always win whatever may be the extremity of sin, evil and wickedness in the world.

#2 Shiva’s Wrath Against Kaamdev

Kaamdev – the Lord of Love and Desire, Bhagvan Shiv incinerated Kaamdev on this day. Therefore, devotees celebrate it by burning objects of desire as a symbolic gesture of getting rid of carnal desires. From the eighth day of the Falgun Shukla Paksha to the Full Moon Day (Purnima) for eight days, Holashtak is observed. During these periods, no holy rituals are performed, and no auspicious projects/ assignments/ tasks are undertaken.

After the end of Holashtak, the auspicious period begins.

#3  Hanuman ji and Holi

On the day of Holi, Hanuman ji is also worshipped by a devotees. People believe that if rice with clarified butter (ghee) or vermilion is presented to Hanuman ji , all the life struggles, problems, troubles and threats can be dissolved.

Importance Of Holi Puja: Holika Sthapana Rituals and Puja Samagri (materials)

On this auspicious day, it is believed that all sorts of negativity and fear can be conquered by performing Holika Puja on Holi. Holika Puja bestows power, wealth and prosperity. And Gain Success in your life.

Have you ever thought that there could be any scientific reason behind the festivals we celebrate? Here, I intend to trace the science behind the festival of Holi. Let’s explore- India and Asia normally go through the transition phase of winter and summer. And Africa go through from Summer to winter the period induces the growth of bacteria in the atmosphere as well as in the body. When Holika is burnt, temperature of the nearby area raises around 50-60 degree Celsius. Following the tradition when people perform Parikrama (go around the bonfire/pyre), the heat coming from the bonfire kills the bacteria in the body and cleanses it.

In some parts of the country, after Holika Dahan (burning of Holika) people put ash on their forehead and also mix Chandan (paste of sandal wood) with the young leaves and flowers of the Mango tree and consume. It is believed to promote good health.

This is the time, when people get the feeling of tardiness. This is quite natural for the body to experiences some tardiness because of change in weather , To counter this laziness, people sing Songs (Phag, Jogira etc.) with Dhol, Manjira and other traditional instruments. This helps in rejuvenating the human body. Their physical movement while playing with colours also helps in the process. Colours play vital role in fitness of human body. Deficiency of a particular colour could cause an ailment and can be cured when that colour element is supplemented either through diet or medicine. In ancient times, when people started playing Holi, the colours used by them were made from natural sources like turmeric, Neem, Palash (Tesu) etc. The playful pouring and throwing of colour powders made from these natural sources has a healing effect on the human body. It has the effect of strengthening the ions in the body and adds health and beauty to it.

Now a day, market is mostly flooded with synthetic colours and herbal colours are not available in adequate quantity. Synthetic Colours are also cheap and people feel we have to pour this on others and not on ourselves, hence they opt for it. But they forget one thing that everybody thinks in the same way and others also pour you with same synthetic colours. The synthetic colours available in the market comprises of toxic components such as lead oxide, diesel, chromium iodine and copper sulphate which lead to rashes on the skin, allergies, pigmentation, frizzy hair and eye irritation. In extreme cases, it can cause serious skin diseases and clogging of hair cuticles resulting in severe hair damage, therefore stay away from synthetic colour and use natural colour.

Holi and Astrology remedies.

Yes, you can make holika dahan as bring success and prosperity in your life by offering special ingredients    Don’t underestimate holika dahan. It is a very important process and scholars use this day to overcome from many serious problems of life.

Guruji Gopal Vyas:

Guruji Gopal Vyas:

Guruji Gopal Vyas:

Vasant Panchmi- Wednesday 25th January 2023.

Jai shree Krishna, Vasant Panchami (Basant Panchmai)
Wednesday 25th January 2023 This Devine Festival  is going to Celebrate across  the world in among the Hindu Community.
Let us understand what is  importance of this festival in our life?
Vasant mean spring — in Indian and other asian country enter in spring season, that is basic understanding , Now Maha sud Panchami—The Day of Mother Saraswati Born and that make this Day very important .
1- As per Puranas, Bhagvan  Brahma created the world in the beginning. It included all living creatures including the human life. But because of the unpleasant silence, he felt that there is something lacking in this creation. Then he discussed this matter with bhagvan Vishnu and finally with Devine Power Mother Saraswati to grant the power of speech to the living beings of the earth. Mother Saraswati manifested in front of Bhagvan Brahma and was holding a Veena (harp), book, with a blessing gesture. She infused sound into the atmosphere of the whole world by playing her magical and celestial veena. As a result, words started emerging in this world in every action and reaction. Humans started uttering words and started learning its usage in the form of sentences. She also granted the voice to various creatures like humming bees, chirping birds, and other animals. Not only this, she infused musical sound even in the flow of breeze and the passage of rivers.
2- The four arms of Mother Saraswati represent the four aspects of human personality in learning: mind, intellect, alertness, and ego. She rides on a white goose (swan). The swan is known for its peculiar characteristic of separating water from milk, indicating that one should possess clear vision and knowledge to discriminate between good and evil.
3-  To obtain the blessings of the Mother , devotees should perform the puja on Vasant Panchami . The pooja  performed on Vasant Panchami by wearing yellow garments  and  be a vegetarian food and fruits.  After the normal morning activities, one should put on clean, new garments. If yellow garments are unavailable, then use white  material  One must sit in a clean place on an ashan and sip in the water 3 times with the mantra and sprinkle the water on himself. Meditate on Bhagvan Ganesha and offer him a bath and other items and worship. Then one must meditate on Mother Saraswati and bow down to her. Then one must take a small amount of water in the hand and do the Sankalpa that “I ___ (name) am performing this puja  to receive your grace, grant me the strength to do it in a proper way”. Then make red and yellow dot to mother  sarawati murti or picture—and light oil and ghee lamp front of her , Offer fruit as a Prasad – and chant Saraswati Mantra 108 time .

**Om Aim Shrim Hrim Saraswatiyeai Namah:*

Mother  Saraswati is the consciousness in us, without her grace, speech and intelligence are not possible for a human. The power of speech, music, singing, thinking, and understanding is the gift of the goddess only. This is the reason behind considering her as the Mother of intelligence and wisdom. This is why many intellectual people worship Mother  Saraswati on this day with intense devotion in order to gain happiness, peace, name, fame, glory, wealth and wisdom.
